This may come as a surprise, considering the game was announced exactly two years ago at E3 2017. The Metroid fan community may be wondering why Metroid Prime 4 was not shown at E3 2018. The answer is painful, but straightforward: Metroid Prime 4 is simply not ready to be shown.
